Welcome !

You may have already guessed that we are a pretty close knit family here at Fat Quarter World. Just one of the things we all have in common (besides our love of fabric, of course!) is our love of Christmas fabric! If you are as organized as we all wish we could be and Christmas seems right around the corner... go take a look at all the lovely new collections!

Love-n-Piece,

Autumn means back to school, cooler nights, and soon

it will mean changing trees and falling leaves.  The

Splendor of Autumn is unlike anything imaginable.

We have several great fabric collections to

celebrate Autumn:  Gobble Gobble, Shades of Fall,

September, & Pumpkins and Spice.

Mary from Mexico City wants to know, how many fat quarters does it take to make a queen size quilt? King size?

Fabric amounts always depend on the pattern that you are working with. However we have found that generally you will need 30 fat quarters for a Queen size quilt and 48 fat quarters for a King size quilt.

Kevin from Minnesota is wondering, what can be done with a charm square other than using it as a 5” square.

Moda has put together a really nice guide to cutting char squares into various size shapes, including triangles.
